Description
The Devonshire is made from solid oak rather than a veneer, with solid oak double mouldings and a high gloss finish.
The panelling is routed into the sides and the ends, so the detailing continues around the whole coffin. Add the double mouldings and the double raised lid and you have one of the most fully worked coffins we offer in oak.
It is fitted with polished brass handles set on the routed panels, with a brass fitting on the lid.
Solid oak has a strong, open, flowing grain, and a gloss finish brings the figure of the timber right out. Every one is different.
